Community Events Assistant
We are looking for a volunteer to assist with Community Days in the wildlife garden.
These are usually on the last Saturday of the month in the afternoon.
A three month minimum commitment is required.
Requirements: You need to be a good communicator with an interest in working outdoors.
Applicants must be 18 or over.
Purpose of role:
To engage the local community and ensure younger generations are inspired to learn about conservation and environmental issues, food growing and wildlife.
Main activities/tasks:

To help with the activities running during the session

To greet our visitors and make them feel welcome

To take photos of the event to record the impact of our project
Who are we looking for?
Someone who is:
-
Friendly
-
Has experience of or interested in learning about gardening
-
Previous experience of working with children (not essential)
