Community Events Assistant

We are looking for a volunteer to assist with Community Days in the wildlife garden.  
These are usually on the last Saturday of the month in the afternoon.  
A three month minimum commitment is required.

Requirements: You need to be a good communicator with an interest in working outdoors.

Applicants must be 18 or over.


Purpose of role:

To engage the local community and ensure younger generations are inspired to learn about conservation and environmental issues, food growing and wildlife.

Main activities/tasks:
  • To help with the activities running during the session
  • To greet our visitors and make them feel welcome

 

 

 

 

  • To take photos of the event to record the impact of our project
Who are we looking for?  
Someone who is:
  • Friendly
  • Has experience of or interested in learning about gardening
  • Previous experience of working with children (not essential)

  • meeting new people
  • helping to make a difference in the community etc.
